gym 2014

to me gym has always bin about learning to be heathy and stay fit. Lately though it has changed to gym teaching me to push throughthe hard stuff kn life and try to do my best. this change has affrcted me alot in just the last couple of weeks and im now changing in my heath, grades and hockey. I have always bin very fit and healthy and never had trouble  with not being able to do sumthing unless i was to lazy to do it. Being lazy is my biggest obstacle but latly i have tried very hard not to be and i have pushed myself alot. When im not lazy i can go very hatd for example i ran a 13.6 on the beeb test witch is very good. i usually bring gym strip but if i dont i still do gym and try but if i forget it its usualy because i forgot i had gym or i just forgot. latly my effort has bin alot better then at the begining of the year. When we do fitness days i dont get that tiered i sweat but i could always keep going even if i do get tiered i still push through. One thing i wanna keep inproving on is not to be lazy and also be more of a leader in class. For the rest of the year i am going to be a leader in classe and do my best not only in gym but in life. When i dont have a gym or during the summer i have hockey 4-6 days a week so i stay fit all year. For my grade this year i think i deserve a B because i didnt have a very good begining but im going to make it better and get an A next semester

  1. Hey Aiden,

I like a lot of the need for change points you are making. There have been some improvements for sure in being dressed and ready to be active as well as some performance based accomplishments such as the beep test.

You obviously are an excellent athlete but for a majority of the course up until recently you have missed classes, not been dressed and ready and shown little effort in any activity, fitness or recreation.

Moreover, as far as the personal and social responsibility side of things in class I haven't seen much in the way of leadership, initiative, helping out or being a positive influence around or to others.

If a an "A" is 'excellent' and a "B" is consistently good' it would be hard to equate what you have done this semester to consistently good. I agree with you in your write up though that you possess the ability to do an excellent job regularly and be an excellent example of what we hope to see from our students, whether a dominant athlete or not.

Be what you have been the last little bit and you will be at where you want in this course.
